Theif and the Jester by Wolfmother...the lyrics are interesting, the Guitar kicks buttocks and the Guitar Hero kiddies will recognize it. Happy Jack by the Who...Vicki can be caught listening to it, "Ya, mom, it's my new favourite song!". Heh. -Wapitikev Nominate your songs for the Repairman Jack movie Soundtrack - felinestevens - 04-08-2008 And thinking of it, I've got another song choice. Devil in New Jersey, from Coheeb and Cambria. The New Jersey Devil, of course, is the fabled creature of the Pine Barrens. And for that, try Googling "Pine Barrens" and click on the first link! Great insight. Nominate your songs for the Repairman Jack movie Soundtrack - Pirate - 04-09-2008 I need to add another one. I can think of three off-hand--Beach Boys, Kinks, and Steely Dan. Might be cool to have them =all= in the soundtrack! Nominate your songs for the Repairman Jack movie Soundtrack - Pirate - 04-10-2008 Mike, I'll help with the guitars on that track! Nominate your songs for the Repairman Jack movie Soundtrack - NickelobLight - 04-10-2008 So many great ones...let's see. For when Jack is laying waste with his flamethrower, how about "Fuel" by Metallica? Or something a little more contrasting..."Light my Fire" by the Doors, (cliche I know)? How about "Disco Inferno?" For some reason, when I read the part where Jack is squaring off on the rooftop, Jimmy Buffet's "Halloween in Tijuana" goes through my mind. I must have been listening to it when I first read it. Nice eerie song. Bad Religion's "Diseased," (of course that would work better for a movie adaptation of Hosts I suppose). White Zombie's rendition of "Children of the Grave" AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" Lovin Spoonful's "Summer in the City" Queen's "Stone Cold Crazy," (or the thrashing Metallica version) David Allen Coe & Pantera "Rebel meets Rebel" Trace Adkins' "I Got my Game on" Johnny Cash's version of "Rusty Cage" "Sous le dome epais" ("The Flower Duet"), by Leo Delibes (from his opera 'Lakme'). Trust me. You've ALL heard this, and it would be an incredible contrast to a scene with lots of gunplay Unfortunately, at least 90% of what I listen to is Jimmy Buffet, so I don't have a vast knowledge of music. Cool ideas some of you have, by the way. |
