That's a good thing Kenji! I'm also surprised at how few Mccammon fans there are. He's very under rated. IMO. What is it exactally that makes a King or a Koontz?

I love McCammon. But he needs to start writing again

Gone South is one of my top ten favorites ever.

"The Queen of Bedlum" is his new book. Still not available, but it'll be soon.

My favorites are "Mine", "Usher's Passing", and "Boy's Life". Those are my top three McCammon's books.

Boy's Life is on my list of favorite books by anyone. I finished the last page and said, "I wish I'd written that." (Not something I say very often.)

I love GS as well and Boy's Life. A couple of others i don't see get mentioned much are The Night Boat and The Wolf's Hour. Now that I think about it, they are the only books of his that I've read and I liked them all. Methinks I ought to read more McCammon.

I read Swan Song a long time ago and wasn't enchanted by it.

I recently read They Thirst and though it was AWESOME!

OOOHHH you didn't like Swan Song? I forgot all about that book. I loved that one!!! The scene were the black, football player runs through the grocery store with Swan was fantastic.

And Wolfs Hour is another classic.

Might I say McCammon is up there with the best story tellers of my generation...

I agree, Swan Song is a great read. Loved the part; stuck underground. A boy is the only one to cut an arm off! What a book! I also Liked "Stinger". But I barely remeber it.

LOL I agree. Boys Life is one of my top ten fave ever. I should of edited my earlier post. I said Gone South was one of my favorites when I actually meant Boys Life.

Although Gone South was still a real good read.

Not to sound like Mickey Rourke from Sin City but "I get confused sometimes."
