So I guess this is the wrong thread for me to espouse the virtues of phrenology and breatharianism.

The lady at the window handed over the food. Mel passed it to the little girl. He licked his lips and felt his gorge rise. He stomped on the gas and pulled into a parking spot, leaping out and barely making it to the bushes before letting everything go.
The little bush had turned white. His stomach grumbled again and he wondered again if there was something wrong with him. Mel looked up and saw her standing against the window, a mouthful of fries, laughing.

On the other hand, the ability of pyramids and crystals to concentrate and direct the healing rays emanating from the aquatic empires of Atlantis and Mu are well documented throughout the works of Edgar Cayce!

Shaking a juju stick over the patient has some value in some cases, but it's hard to get the dosage right for reproducible results.

Mock me if you must, but I still think there are many instances that home cures are every bit as valid as what you'll get from visiting from a doctor.

I agree - there are a lot of remedies and preventative measures that can be handled at home. But the more DIY you do, the more you have to watch out for quackery. And the specific things mentioned in the article sounded quite quackish.
