I respect and support all of our men and women in our Armed Forces, but I am privileged to work with many former Marines.
Happy Birthday, Marine Corps!

There are no former Marines, once a Marine, always a Marine.
Happy Birthday to the USMC. I salute my nephew, a Marine and all those that serve this country.

I thought of mentioning it myself, but you got there first.
Funny story:
It was November 10, 1942 in New Zealand, (which was also a Tuesday) my father and a friend had leave and were walking down a street, when they met a Sailor going the other way. The sailor said to my dad, "Happy Birthday."
Dad said "thanks," and after the sailor passed he turned to his friend and said, "How did he know it was my birthday?"
Dad's buddy said, "Today's your birthday?!"
Dad said, "Yes."
And his buddy said, "It's also the birthday of the Marine Corps."
Platoon Sargent Audrey M. Valentine, USMC 337878 born Nov. 10, 1916, died Nov. 15, 1995.

A toast to all and especially to my best friend's son who graduated from Marines boot camp last month.
PS- also some good thoughts that he and his fellow Marines stay safe and sound wherever they may be.

Feels weird to wish happy birthday to a block of the armed forces that kill. I will say" "Always faithful" and mean it.

Marines are not trained to kill, we are trained to go into combat and win. If someone happens to die in the process so be it
A big Semper Fi to your nephew Brian, HOORAH
