Default Libertarian NY Mayoral Candidate Uses "Prisoner" Sing-off?

Anyone hear about this?

I got a message on my site that the Libertarian candidate for NYC Mayor signed off using the "sign of the fish" that Patrick McGoohan utilized with his great "be seeing you" motto in "The Prisoner". (That's the move where he made the symbol we know as the "okay" sign, raised it to his eye and said, "Be seeing you."

I've always fantasized about using that in some kind of interview with a slack-jawed pop media host, just to confuse him. :-) Has anyone heard about this happening in NY? Would love to know!

Be seeing you!

I'd never heard of the show. I looked at some clips on YouTube. It almost looks interesting.

I think the gesture looks like a lazy salute. It's possible the candidate never saw the show. I imagine I've made that gesture before too.
