I have to admit; I'm curious about his last name too. When I tell other Crime fiction fans I'm a fan of a character called Repairman Jack, eventually, after I describe the character and his universe, they usually ask: Jack what? What's his last name?
I just hope it's not Spratt.

Why? I just finished Hosts, so I've quite a few books to go, but by this point the Semmerling stopped and killed the Subway Terrorist, and Jack has already switched to the .380. Does the Semmerling come back into the series?
