    Default The Avengers

I caught this last Thursday, and I don't want to get everybody's hopes up, but it ticked all my boxes and was everything I hoped.

So much so that I saw it again yesterday. Still good. And I hope Whedon gets the credit he is due for pulling this together. It could have gone so horribly wrong, but he was the right choice for the job and he didn't drop the ball.

    Go see it!

Awesome news! I was wondering if you were going to see it and I was anticipating your word if you did. Thank you kindly, Dave. Now I am even more stoked to see it. However, I made a fatal flaw of booking a trip to the Casinos this weekend so it will have to wait until next weekend, which is fine...it will build the anticipation so much more and the theaters wont be AS packed as opening weekend.

I seriously have not been this stoked to see a movie in a long time!

I chuckled at Paul Lynde as Loki, but guffawed at HAWKEYE!

I saw it the week end and thought it was great. This is the first time the hulk has been portrayed on screen as he is in the comics - he can speak & act rationally if a bit wild & unpredictable

Action scenes are fantastic & the humour is great as well

I wait to buy the DVD

Saw this over the weekend and I was blown away. I expected it to be a fun ride considering Joss Whedon was at the helm, but it exceeded my expectations.

There is plenty of action and more laughs than I anticipated. The dialogue is witty and fast paced, but the best laugh out loud moments came from the Hulk. The way they have him do things in this movie makes him the best Incredible Hulk to grace the silver screen.

I saw it in 3D and the effect is used sparingly but in the final showdown in New York, it is used to full effect.

I am typically not a fan of long movies, and at 2 and a half hours The Avengers crosses the threshold, but I plan on seeing it again before it leaves theaters.

See this one on the big screen!

It played in an IMAX theater here but the first showing wasn't until later in the day. I go see all the movies on Sunday mornings because the rest of the state is at church. The later in the day the more people show up to the showing.

We saw it last night. Yeah, the Hulk was awesome. If my niece hasn't seen the movie yet, I'll take her this weekend.
