Sadly, Yuengling isn't available West of the Mississippi. I have to make a 18 hour round trip beer run at least twice a year

I transported Yuengling for a friend from Indiana who can't get it there, either.

it's not bad. the black and tan is better. I just can't get into pilsners.

Listening to "The Haunted Air" and he is drinking a Killian's.

Jack got up and pulled another Killian's from the fridge. "You don't mind that I'm drinking, do you?"
This was his third Killian's while Gia was still working on her first club soda. The bottle of wine he'd picked up on the way over sat unopened on the counter. Gia had told him that, as much as she loved her Chardonnay, she wouldn't be drinking for the next nine months.
"Not if it's beer. Wine might tempt me, but if the world suddenly forgot how to make beer, I'd never miss it."
"A world without beer… what an awful thought."

Didn't his sister stock the fridge with Grolsch? or was that where the coors lite was?

I am happy to touch the glass bottle to my lips now and again, but for me, the only one to truly satisfy is a Guinness double stout, poured out into a glass. That way the senses upon ones head can breathe in and truly appreciate its dark goodness.

Ok, here’s one for you beer people out there: Name a beer that is the remedy for what ails yee.
For instance: all bound up? à Old Style is the natural oral enema. (its true)

Yuengling is more of an amber lager... Not so much a Pilsner. Pilsner is a light straw colored lager with a dry maltiness contrasted by a sharper hop (Usually noble) flavor and aroma.

My recommendation to all is to buy American beers. Craft Brewing in the United States has pushed past the rest of the world. Belgium would be second. But from Lagers to Hefeweizens to Barleywines, the US's beers are better crafted, more adventurous, and probably most important... Fresher. Young German brewers travel to the States to learn better brewing techniques these days.
