I'm baaaaaack!
I began to answer Ken's last post on the haiku thread and it turned into a GU haiku.
So, to answer Ken's post and to praise GU:
Good practice for war
is a gourd fight at the creek!
Good fishing there, too!
Good fishing there, too,
at the GU. Fishing for
Effy and new friends.
I found both. Paul is
a gentleman supreme with
a wicked twinkle
in his eye. We met
his lovely wife, Mary, who
made us feel welcome.
Now I know on whom
Gia is based. What a kind
and spunky lady!
Lisa is tiny,
but make no mistake, she is
powerful and smart!
Susan's smile lights up
the room. She makes you feel that
you are important.
David's winning ways
and sharp wit are entrancing.
He is too much fun!
Mark is warm and kind,
funny and thoughtful. He is
the soul of the group.
Jim loves to laugh and
joke around. He draws the line,
though, at talking trash.
Ron and Chris were new.
But we'd have been lost without
them. Literally!
They showed us the way
in and out and round about
the whole of Disney!
Biggles loved Epcot
so much, he ran there each day
alone, sans GU.
Tony! What can you
say? He is hilarity
manifest. That's Tony!
And Maggers? The gulls
had their way with her. Stole her
bread then pooped her head.
Well, my friends, that was
GU 4. Wild and whacky,
and totally cool!
