There are probably few here who are familiar with Clutch, but I recommend picking up their new album, Blast Tyrant, today. Or rather, I'm going to pick it up, probably love it, and whole-heartedly recommend it. In case it's not so good, go buy Pure Rock Fury, instead.

Great band. If they're going to be in your area soon, check 'em out. No opening band except for their jam quartet (the band minus the singer). Live, they like to drop the mics and just play music for ten, fifteen minutes at a time. Few hard rock bands do that without sounding like Metallica Part 18.

A friend over Christmas gave me a mix CD of Clutch's work. I had never heard of them but I do agree that there stuff is great now that I have. Not aware of the new album. I'll have to check iTunes to see if it's available there. Thanks for the heads-up!

Well, it's good. So definitely recommend it.

Promoter, Swollen Goat, Subtle Hustle, and WYSIWYG alone make the album worth it. The other 11 tracks of goodness don't hurt either.

Anyone who likes rock, and by that I don't mean 90% of the garbage on the radio today, should pick this album up. This is the real deal.

I don't know if you're familiar with this band: The Union Underground. I came across them over the weekend and really liked it. I highly recommend you check them out.

I'll see if I can find some of their stuff. At work we've got "on-demand" internet radio, so I'l type in their name and see what comes up.
